I had thought I had done a very worthwhile presentation, and was very disappointedly surprised to see that the sentiment was not shared by the instructor.
I couldn't help but feel strongly that I did not agree with this evaluation. If I had chosen a different strategy, I would have chosen a different method of presentation, including pictures, but I chose one on ethical dilemmas with the focus of teaching it in the setting of my own college. And I definitely felt that I had done a very professional presentation completely in line with the rubric's level 4 expectations.
On reflection, I see that this was not a project where I was to create something that was in line with the goals of my own workplace, but rather one for the more general public. With a time frame of only 5 minutes, the purpose of this project was more to demonstrate my ability in learning how to use a digital presentation in which I had not been aware of before, and to introduce a teaching strategy to fellow classmates at the same time. So, don't over think your digital project; simple is best!
